Another Busy Weekend

It is late Sunday night; I’m utterly exhausted after attending a family birthday dinner yesterday, completing a 5 page paper this morning, and hosting a dinner at my house this afternoon. My family has just left, and I finally have been able to put my feet up. Today, I had a paper due for ILS530 - Information Systems Analysis & Design - a tech growth paper. The assignment was to choose a library technology and write a paper about the state of that technology ten years from now. I can honestly say that I found this assignment to be a difficult one to complete - whether this is because I had way too much to do this weekend or because I just had trouble with it, I can’t say. I decided to research the future of the integrated library system. My thinking at this point is that this was way too much to attempt to do in a 5 page paper. One could write a dissertation on this subject. However, I wrote something - something that I am not particularly proud of because by this morning, I just needed to have it done so that I could start getting ready for the family dinner. But, ultimatedly, I’m done with the assignment. Tomorrow is a holiday, and I plan to take a break from school (along with work). I definitely could use a break in order to recharge my batteries. I’m looking forward to it!!!!
